Empanada Heating Instructions

Microwave

Take your empanadas and place them in a microwave-safe dish or container.

  1. You will then reheat on the medium setting for around 30 second intervals.

  2. After the first 30 seconds, check to see if the empanada is heated up properly, if not let it reheat for another 30 seconds.

  3. You want to be careful to not let the microwave heat up continuously, as the empanada could turn soggy.

  4. Once you have felt that the empanada has been reheated to your liking, take it out, allow to cool off and enjoy.

Toaster Oven

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F

  2. Place empanadas on a baking sheet or an oven safe dish.

  3. Place the sheet in the oven and let sit for around 10 to 15 minutes.

  4. Check to see that the empanadas are heated all the way through, if not let them sit in the oven for a couple more minutes.

  5. Once fully reheated, take out, allow to cool and enjoy.

Deep Fryer or Skillet (Frozen)

  1. Add some oil to your deep fryer or skillet and let them heat up.

  2. You are going to take your frozen empanadas (do not defrost them) and add them to the skillet/deep fryer, once the oil is properly heated up.

  3. You’re going to let them fry until they are golden brown, take note that you are not keeping them in there too long.

  4. Once done, take them out of place on a paper towel to get some of the oil absorbed, then let cool and enjoy.
